Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 1 Years, Brooklyn office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an Entry-level Workers' Compensation Attorney preferably with 1 year of workers' compensation law experience. The candidate will handle a substantial caseload. Conduct opening and closing arguments, direct and cross-examination of witnesses, and a thorough familiarity with the record of each case. File necessary appeals/rebuttals/summations. Fluency in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Russian, or Creole would be a plus. New York Bar admission is required.Additional Skills: The ideal candidate should be well versed in workers' compensation law, highly motivated, have a high standard of ethics, and have strong communication skills. Must be able to travel between boroughs (mainly Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens). Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Must be able to work independently and have the desire to assume significant responsibility. An understanding of legal language and principles and other related matters is required.
