Senior Project Manager
Sev1Tech is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. The critical role must be knowledgeable and experienced in project and program management in support of DoD Information Technology implementation and sustainment Programs and environments. The Senior Project Manager will have demonstrated experience supporting a multi project and multi domain client across of number of IT requirements and Areas of Responsibility (AoRs).

Roles And Responsibilities
- Serves as the primary Government’s point of contact for communications and decision making.
- Responsible for cost, schedule and performance of supported projects and overall execution of the program to include CPARs assessments.
- Provides oversight and coordination for all contractor personnel (including subcontractors) assigned to the specific task within the program.
- Oversees all contractual responsibilities and delivery of all contract deliverables in accordance with the Customer defined reporting and tracking requirements.
- Oversees team tasks, enforces procedures and policies, creates and individual reporting requirements and roll ups.
- Translate customer requirements into formal plans, cost estimates and executable projects.
- Established and maintains all 3 rd party partnerships between customer, suppliers and staff.
- Responsible for identification of project and program risk / providing recommendations and remediations of issues that impact cost, schedule and performance.
- Understands customer, industry and business trends and applies this understanding to meet project objectives.
- Analyzes information and situations and implement actions, independently and or through the management team to ensure project objectives are met.
- Analyzes new and complex project related problems and creates innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.
- Provides whitepapers, briefings and adhoc solutions as required based on mission impacts or gap analysis.
- Supports corporate initiatives around customer and agency engagement for continued business growth and strategic positioning.
- Understanding of modern IT development delivery to include Agile
- Eight years of intensive and progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency levels related to task. Education may be substituted with 12 years of intensive and progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency levels related to task.
- 10 years experience with DoD IT programs
- 6 years experience with geographically separated work force
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university which provides substantial knowledge of the information sciences.
- MUST be able to provide proof of US citizenship for Government Clearance Requirements
- Familiar with the Navy’s Shore Installation Handbook procedures and policies.
- Familiar with supporting and delivering services in CONUS and OCONUS locations
- Previous experience working with the US Navy, other DOD experience is acceptable.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and/or DAU Level III Project Management certification.
