As Quality and Packaging Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that compliance is adhered to and that all products are of the highest EN 71 standards. The Purchasing Team has the responsibility for ensuring availability, purchasing at the lowest cost whilst ensuring safety and quality objectives are maintained and on time delivery is achieved. : Pension Scheme Quality and Packaging Manager Responsibilities:
: Managing a small team of 2
: Monitoring of product error rates
: Collation of new and historical product compliance certification
: Carry out risk assessments and fit for purpose testing on products to ensure products meet the required standards, are safe and of a quality to last the intended environment
: Work with Marketing, NPD, and the Buyers to resolve product quality issues
: Own the quality forum to drive down the percentage of customer complaints
: Fully assess all bespoke products, recording testing requirements, ensuring that all trade and export are fully tested as well as high risk products
: Develop a testing database giving self:service access to all areas of the business to test certificates and declarations of conformity
: Full involvement at the concept stage of all bespoke products in an advisory role to ensure that all potential risks, testing, and packaging requirements are captured and that technical specifications have covered all recommendations
: Review packaging of all bespoke products making recommendations for improvement
: Select 'historically problematic/repeat offending' suppliers or product types from delivery list and complete a full inspection
: Full up to date understanding of all product labelling requirements
: Monthly reporting demonstrating progress against key objectives and KPI's
: Ongoing process improvement
: Suppler audits This role will suit someone with:
: Good technical skills, including confident use of Microsoft Office
: A minimum of 3 years Quality and Packaging experience within a fast:moving environment
: Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to work closely with and influence others
: Ability to build strong relationships
: Strong financial and commercial awareness including budget management
: Excellent planning, organisational and Analytical skills
: Accurate, thorough, and methodical with a keen eye for quality
