QA Senior Engineer (m/f/d)

As a member of our UI or data processing team, your objective is to empower the team by ensuring functional correctness and scalability of our UI, backend and data processing pipelines. Our data pipelines import data from our partners, aggregate and generate data that is used directly by our internal teams, and export the data for consumption in the external systems.

To achieve your objective, you will support us in building manual and automated testing suites through designing and implementing both manual and automated testing processes. Your work will have a strong impact on our ability to ship quality software that fulfills the needs of our customers and helps us on our mission to become one of the biggest players in the retail ad market.

What you’ll do:

• You will, together with our Lead QA, create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Perform regression and exploratory testing of existing and new product features
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Be an advocate for building high-quality, maintainable software within the company
• Test UI and API components

What you’ll bring along:

• A minimum of 5 years experience in the software engineering field
• Proven work experience in software quality assurance: test case specifications, exploratory testing & test automation
• Experience with a major Test Framework like Selenium, Cypress or Playwright, Testng or RestAssured
• Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman or SOAPUI
• Experience in software testing in an agile context
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
• Curiosity and a passion for building products customers enjoy to use
• A team player mentality
• A passion to take ownership of QA tasks

Great if you also have:

• Experience in agile software development with methodologies like Scrum
• Experience in quality assurance for B2B and SaaS software platforms
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
