Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced QA to support our Prospero Charting team, that is responsible for building our high performance B2B charting solutions. As the first QA hire into the team, we require someone who can work autonomously, with good communication skills, strong manual testing skills as well as a broad understanding of different testing tools and technologies. We are looking for someone who can consider and suggest improvements to our testing tools / development process, and ensure we are maintaining a high level of quality across all of our processes. There will also be customer facing support, acting as our 1st line of support and working with our Partners to fix bugs or solve problems.
The scope of this role and how it could evolve is huge, as this is the first hire of this kind into the London team.
You'll be responsible for:
- The estimation, planning and execution of test cases, both automated and manual and you will ensure any defects in quality are logged appropriately and see them through to completion.
- Using your experience and curiosity to improve our processes
- Working in an agile environment, participating in stand-ups with the team
Qualifications
- Knowledge of browser based and web application testing
- Experience with a range of manual and automated testing methodologies and processes.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Interest in learning, developing and improving personal skills
Would be a plus:
- Knowledge and demonstrative abilities in frontend programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, etc
- Technical documentation writing - any experience reading and writing documentation to make it clearer and better for users
- Understanding of trading, financial markets or crypto
- Knowledge of Russian language in order to communicate with colleagues in Russia / Europe
- A user of TradingView 🙂
