Description


We are seeking to hire a Property Manager for the affordable LIHTC community of Springwater Commons Apartments in Portland, OR. This property has a total of 36 units. The ideal candidate is thorough, experienced in apartment management, organized, and enjoys building a positive, productive environment for residents and co-workers. The Property Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of this property.


It is required to live onsite in this position. The Property Manager will be provided a Four-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment. There will be a separate office where the Property Manager will conduct work from. Utilities will also be paid by the property (Water/Sewage/Garbage).


Location: Springwater Commons Apartments


Workdays: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (40 hours a week)


Hourly Rate: $24/Hr


Additional Compensation: $50.00 cell phone stipend and mileage reimbursement


Responsibilities For The Property Manager


  • Handling move ins/outs
  • Scheduling vendors
  • Resident relations
  • Rent collection
  • Issuing notices
  • Monitoring delinquencies
  • Property ground pick ups
  • Handling after-hour emergencies
  • Other property related duties

The Property Manager is eligible for full-time benefits first of the month following 30 days of employment.

Requirements


Requirements for the Property Manager


  • Two (2) years of Property Manager experience is required.
  • Knowledge of Oregon Landlord Tenant Laws is required.
  • Bilingual speaking skills in English and Russian is required.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing is required.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Strong communication and written skills.
  • Valid driver's license, state minimum insurance, and reliable transportation is required.
