The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is seeking highly motivated applicants to join our roster for temporary General Service Technical and Administrative Assignments positions in Vienna and Seibersdorf.
If you are selected, you will have the opportunity to work in various areas, including office administration, meeting or event organization, travel assistance, drafting correspondence, logistical assistance, report and document administration, project assistance, procurement, shipping activities, and more.
Successful applicants will be included in a roster and may be offered temporary technical and administrative assignments at the General Service level.

Remuneration
The IAEA offers an attractive remuneration package, including a tax-free net base salary. The grade of the short-term assignment will determine the remuneration level.
The appointment is subject to a satisfactory medical report. In line with current IAEA rules and regulations, selected candidates for this type of position can be considered for a maximum period of two years on aggregate service.
Registration within the pipeline does not constitute any formal obligation on the side of the IAEA to offer any type of employment. The IAEA retains the discretion not to make any appointment to this pipeline, or to make an appointment with a modified job description than indicated above.

- Be currently a legal resident in Austria and have a valid work permit.
- Have at least a high school diploma.
- Have a minimum of four years of relevant work experience providing administrative assistance in an office or laboratory setting.
- Be fluent in English.
- Knowledge of other IAEA languages such as Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish.
- Knowledge of procedures and administrative guidelines in an international organization, embassy or multinational environment.
