Manager Contracts
The Opportunity
- Manage the formulation of contract policies, procedures, methods, operating practices, and performance standards for the business and programs.
- Work on more complex bids that may require integrating proposals from subcontractors and other potential vendors.
- Responsible for the employment, training, motivation, and evaluation of assigned employees.
- Facilitates effective implementation of contract responsibilities within program objectives and requirements.
- Responsible for the management and administration of the entire contract lifecycle of company contracts including overseeing proposal preparation, contract negotiation and claim management.
- Reviews and resolves all issues effecting company compliance and ensures satisfaction of legal requirements, company, and customer objectives.
- Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions.
- MBA and Law degree permitting practice in major European country
- 6 years of experience in international contract law position involving negotiation of complex international contracts within Aerospace, Nuclear, Chemical, and Oil & Gas industries
- 3 years of previous supervisory/management experience (experience can be gained in any occupation in which the required experience was gained).
- Must be fluent in English and one of the major European languages (French, German, Spanish, or Russian).
