Human Resources Manager

Tashkent Supermarket Brooklyn Part-time

The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities within a retail environment. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, hiring and recruiting.


Responsibilities

  • Recruit and Onboard new hires Conduct performance management and provide feedback.
  • Lead the experience: Directly support the Managers to achieve Tashkent's performance and quality standards in all departments.
  • Maintains compliance on I-9’s and minor work permits as needed.
  • Understand that teamwork is key: Communicate with staff to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Builds strong business acumen.
  • Ability to understand retail / functional knowledge.
  • Communicates attendance issues or concerns to Store Leadership.
  • Solid understanding of labor laws for US and Canada and demonstrates strong HR sensibility and critical thinking


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • 2+ years' experience of Human Resources (Retail) in the US
  • Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
  • Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
  • Attention to detail and good judgement
  • Flexible Schedule (Attendance of a few days a week is applicable)
  • Must be able to speak English and Russian
