Job Description

We are looking for a Frontend Developer. As a Developer, you will develop modern high-load client side web application, adapt code base to modern requirements. In this role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining new client application, implementing changes from the current system, and creating new modules. The ideal candidate will be a full stack developer (JavaScript/TypeScript/PHP, mandatory knowledge of ReactJS, CSS preprocessors like a SASS/SCSS or LESS, NodeJS environment (npm), UI frameworks (AntD, Bootstrap), unit test writing skills (Jest + Enzyme)) and will have some unix systems experience, including comfort using the command line to explore logs and run shell scripts.

The developer should be willing and excited to contribute to discussions with brand leadership while taking the initiative to solve problems and get the job done while taking on new challenges. You should thrive in team-oriented and fast-paced environments where each team-member is vital to the overall success of the product. You should have the ability to quickly troubleshoot technical problems with minimal assistance from others.

Essential Responsibilities And Duties

Develop, troubleshoot and maintain application code for existing programs on both the front-end (TypeScript, ReactJS, HTML, CSS, Sass, AntD, etc.) and the back-end (PHP, PostrgreSQL Queries, etc.)
Collaborate with team in defining architecture; implement data contracts; identify and proactively advise on potential risks to success
Design, develop and test new modules throughout their life cycle - Translate design vision provided by the management team
Learn, understand and use JavaScript\TypeScript, JS frameworks and PHP, PHP Frameworks used by the application; contribute to development, troubleshooting and maintenance of custom framework as needed
Manage application dependencies
Develop and maintain regression and unit testing platform
Develop, test and maintain bash scripts used for compiling and deploying code
Research and recommend changes to management team to improve application and user experience
Follow coding conventions, policies and procedures provided
Strong English and Russian language knowledge

Qualifications And Required Skills

4+ years of Frontend development experience.
Experience with high-load systems.
Solid experience with TypeScript, JavaScript Frameworks, jQuery, YUI, REST and other API services, HTML/CSS, CSS preprocessors (i.e. SASS/SCSS or LESS), Linux.
Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
Ability to test and debug websites.
Experience with graphic design applications such as Adobe XD.
Experience architecting and developing large scale frontend design.
Experience working with shell scripts and command line on Linux.
Solid experience with VCS (i.e. Git).
Observant and able to remain focused on tasks for long periods of time

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
