Finance Analyst
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 dependant on experience.
Hours: Mon-Thurs 09:00 17:00 / Friday 08:00 13:00.
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst on behalf of our globally trusted manufacturing client, based in Telford.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
Analysing financial data and creating financial models to support decision making for senior management.
Analysing monthly results, performing variance analysis, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvements.
Partnering with other departments to drive performance and results.
Identifying and driving process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
Driving compliance and testing internal controls.
Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
Involved in budget process, along with monthly forecasting cycles.
Skills And Qualifications Required
Degree in Accounting/Finance or MAAT. CIMA/ACCA Part Qualified/First year studier.
Advanced Excel (strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions) and PowerPoint skills are required.
Knowledge in VBA/PowerQuery programming is considered a plus.
Able to combine a helicopter view with the details required to run the processes.
Has a can-do mentality. Able to cope with tight deadlines and a high change environment.
Ambition to develop and progress to Financial Controller.
Prior experience in FMCG/Manufacturing advantageous.
Speaks English. (Dutch, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian, Polish, Arabic is considered a plus).
