Responsibilities
- Provide translation, interpreting, and transcription services in support of Commissions hearings and interviews held at a US Naval Station
- Convey colloquial, idiomatic, and formal discourse through consecutive interpreting
- Translate general and technical legal materials
- Transcribe English audio/video discovery materials
- Possess Secret clearance
- Tested at ILR 3 in listening, reading, writing, and speaking
- Available for travel for extended periods of time
- Experience in legal/court environment and terminology
