Business Development Manager IoT
About the role
- The main mission is to develop IoT opportunities in EMEA
- Develop the Connected Products vertical sales pipeline in EMEA by direct approach or with OBS account team
- Identify and evaluate go-to-market partners in EMEA, establish contract framework and follow-up with strategical partners to generate new IoT opportunities
- Maintain and develop the IoT lead generation plan:
- Adapt the GTM (recruit and maintain go-to-market partners)
- Actively contribute to events prioritization, potential speaking positions
- Identify / prioritize key accounts
- Execute the operational marketing activities towards the identified suspects (adapt the prop value to prospects, propose key events...)
- Proactively engage prioritized OBS accounts (in synchronization with the channel) or during events
- Identify and qualify new opportunities
- Transfer qualified opportunities to expert sales in relevant domains
- Contribute to the strategy, vision and value proposition of the vertical (for example, on Smart Connected Modules, on European Telematics Providers,…)
- Quantifiable personal target: number of qualified (GO on SMS BU MQC) IoT opportunities, establishment of new strategical partnership agreement (indirect mode)
- Bring sector expertise to the sales channels in EMEA
About you
- Passion for working with new customers to identify and address their business challenges
- Great team working skills and be able to work with teams from a wide range of locations and cultures
- Ability to identify and qualify business opportunities to ensure your time is used in the best way possible
- Tenacity and drive to make relationships in new prospect accounts
- 3 to 5 years experience in sales and relationship management within multi-national companies
- Experience in selling IT and business solutions
- Ideal but not essential to have experience of Partnering with software, hardware and consulting vendors, who have a multi-national customer base
- Degree educated or have a track record in business which shows the equivalent level of academic achievement
- Passionate about learning new things
