About The Role
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and occasional input of Invoices. Majority of invoices will be input by other firm personnel in practice offices or administrative departments. Other key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing invoices for appropriate substantiation.
- Exercising judgment and identifying issues that require escalation or additional care.
- Reviewing invoices and visually identifying risk factors that need attention and recalculates/foot amounts on invoice: Quantity/Price extensions, Tax calculations.
- Reviewing workflow (or manual) approvals to determine if any additional approvals are required.
- Reviewing accounting documents for completeness and mathematical accuracy
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Can read invoices in various European languages including English, French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish.
- Possess the ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus.
- Demonstrate familiarity with VAT input tax process and related rates
- Degree in Accounting, or related field preferred.
- Experience with Accounts Payable.
- Experience with one or more Accounting principles of the following countries desired (United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain)
