The Account Manager will manage all aspects of engagements with existing and new customers for our Honeywell PPE organization. You will build relationships and understand customer business to provide appropriate products or solutions. You will define sales and growth strategy toward key customers while aligning with critical sales business objectives. You will identify opportunities and build credibility with customers. Utilize your product knowledge to deliver the value proposition to the customers.

This role covers Northern Illinois and Eastern Iowa, and candidate must live in one of these areas.  No Visa or relocation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of engagements with existing and new customers for our PPE safety product line including respiratory, fall protection, eye, face, head, hearing, hand, first aid and eyewash products
  • Manage existing book of business to meet or exceed assigned sales quota
  • Build relationships and understand customer business to provide appropriate products and solutions
  • Identify opportunities and build credibility with clients
  • Negotiate and close
  • Articulate and deliver value proposition
  • Develop and maximize Honeywell presence and marketshare in designated accounts and territory
  • Drive continuous improvement and lead change in a premier sales organization
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Customer facing outside sales experience
